Memorial Scholarship

The Crosses for Cameron Memorial Scholarship will award one $500 scholarship to a qualified high school applicant. Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the recipient's college or university upon receipt of an official certificate of enrollment for the upcoming academic semester. The certificate must include the student’s full name, student ID number, and the mailing address of the institution’s financial aid office.

Completed applications must be submitted no later than the last week of April to be considered for the award.

Please answer the following in 1000 words or less:

• Interview a donor family or an organ recipient, or find a testimonial that shares their experience with organ donation. Based on their story, describe the organ donation process and its impact.

• Then, reflect on what you learned about organ donation through this experience. How has it influenced your perspective, and how would you help promote organ donation in your community?
